"Camgaroo Award" goes to Regensburg
REGENSBURG. Oskar Siebert's 5 minute movie "My Shortest Movie", won a Camgaroo Award for excellence in 2009, the "Oscar of amateur filmmakers". Out of several hundred short films from Germany and foreign countries, only six films were nominated in each category for this year's Camgaroo Awards. That was the situation on Friday. Only in Munich's ICM (International Congress Centre) at the end of a festival were the winners announced. Oskar Sieberts prize-winning short film is also a German-Czech Co-production because it was shot in Czechia.
